The completion of works as required on site. Ensuring the highest level of customer service and support is offered to all SC Comms & Utilities clients and team members.

Project Manager, Field Supervisor, Field Team Leader

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES

Overall Duties

The completion of works as required onsite.

  • Build relationships with clients; sub-contractors and team members;
  • Undertake general labouring tasks both onsite and in the depot as directed by Field Team Leader, Field Supervisor, Project Manager;
  • Participate in all meetings / tool box talks as directed by Team Leader, Field Supervisor, Project Manager;
  • Abide by and uphold all SCC&U WHS&E requirements as well as any other onsite WHS&E requirements of the principle contractor;
  • Complete all required paperwork and timesheets as directed by Field Team Leader, Field Supervisor, Project Manager and the Administration Team;
  • Vehicle and machinery operating and upkeep;
  • Active listening;
  • Quality assurance; and
  • Additional tasks as direct by management.

Required Skills

  • White card
  • Ability to drive a minimum of a MR registered heavy vehicle with manual gearbox
  • Pit and pipe / civil comms experience
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and work away from home
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Industry experience;
  • Strong knowledge of the civil communications construction field;
  • Ability to make decisions;
  • Ability to work with Phone Based Apps;
  • Work confidently unattended; and
  • Time Management skills.

Qualifications and Education

  • Valid MR driver’s licence with a manual gearbox
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role

Supervision

This position doesn’t need to provide any supervision. Supervision is provided to Labourers by the Project Manager, Field Supervisor and Field Team Leader.
